CAPPED awarded $5K Gannett Foundation grant
ALAMOGORDO — CAPPED, a local non-profit organization that supports cancer survivors and provides prevention programs, was recently awarded a $5,000 grant from the Gannett Foundation.
CAPPED provides one-on-one support for cancer patients and their family members as they go through the process of diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. In 2017, CAPPED opened a small center for integrated wellness and through the center offers several different therapeutic services that promote health.
