Drugs, assault top December indictments

Rowan grand jury indictments on Dec. 15 included charges related to drugs, assault and theft.

Indicted were:

• Sergio N. Hernandez, 32, for three counts trafficking in a controlled substance when he allegedly trafficked in 3.647 grams, 4.26 grams and 16.487 grams of cocaine on May 5, Aug. 7 and Oct. 2, respectively.

• Edward K. Robinson, 22, for possession of a controlled substance when he was allegedly in possession of heroin on Nov. 13.

• Susan W. Salem, 18, for trafficking in a controlled substance when she was allegedly trafficking in marijuana hash oil within 1,000 feet of a preschool center on Aug. 30.

• Patrick S. Whitt, 53, for cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana when he allegedly planted or harvested five or more marijuana plants with the intent to sell on Sept. 4.
